alright, lets do this.—-
“Mrs. Malfoy, may I have this dance?” Draco smirked, his eyes twinkling, and held his hand out expectantly.
Hermione blushed as she accepted his hand. “Draco, this is ridiculous. Why did we have to come to this dance?”
Draco led her out to the crowded dance floor. “Because you are my new wife, and I intend to take you out and spoil you. And besides, this is me making up for not taking you to the Yule Ball in fourth year.”
Hermione smiled. She remembered their Hogwarts years all too well. “Well of course you couldn’t, our relationship was a secret back then.”
“All the same.”
Draco twirled Hermione around gracefully.
“You know, Draco, I think you’re a better dancer than I am,” she teased playfully. She knew Draco didn’t like his manliness questioned.
“Shut up.”
“Make me.” She knew it was an immature comeback, but then again, their banter itself was immature also.
So Draco kissed her.
Hermione was caught off guard, but automatically leaned into the kiss. She would never grow tired of kissing Draco, for his lips were soft, warm, and most importantly, hers.
Draco pulled away and smirked. “That worked better than I thought.”
“Oh, just shut up and dance.”
